Welcome to BYFA.org
Boerne Youth Football Association (BYFA) is a local association of the Mid-Tex Youth Football which offers cheerleading, flag, and tackle football programs to boys and girls in central Texas. BYFA is part of the Mid-Tex North Division.
  • Flag football is offered for ages 5-6
  • "Freshman" tackle for ages 7-8
  • "Junior Varsity" tackle for ages 9-10
  • "Varsity" tackle for ages 11-12.

The player's age on September 1st determines his/her division.

June 27th Skill Assessment and Equipment Fitting

Boerne Youth Football is having our first skills assessment and equipment fitting Saturday, June 27. All tackle players (no flag players), including wait-listed players are required to attend a skill assessment and fitting.

 

Additionally, you need to bring the following: (Your registration is not complete without these documents.)

 

- Physical - form can be found on web site

- Player/Parent Behavior Form -  form can be found on web site

- Proof of Residency - utility bill is proof

- Birth Certificate - We need to keep this so copies only, no originals.

- Last Terms Report Card - We need to keep this so copy only, no originals.

 

LOCATION

We will meet at Fabra Elementary field.

 

SCHEDULE

Freshman - 8 am to 9 am    Equipment fitting.

JV             - 9 am to 11 am  Equipment fitting and skills assessment.

Varsity      - 11 am to 1 pm  Equipment fitting and skills assessment.

Registration for 2009 is now over. We have filled all our divisions and are looking forward to a great season. We will have a skill assessment and equipment fitting on June 27 and a make-up session on July 11. Teams will be selected after the second assessment.
